I haven’t spent a particularly long amount of time in Prohibition, but I have a couple of American History friends who recommended these books:
Andrew Sinclair’s “Prohibition: The Era of Excess”
Charles Merz’s “The Dry Decade”
As for my opinion, I think a good book to show the mindsets and culture of the time is The Great Gatsby.
