Education One Tumble At A Time

3 notes

nevernoticeanything asked: In recent years, as in the last 75; who would you consider the best president for out country? Why?

Well, as a personal fan of World War II, I’m tempted to say either FDR or Truman. However, I think Eisenhower is probably the best president we’ve had in the past 75 years. The Eisenhower Interstate System is a beautiful thing that helped transportation across a massive country possible, while giving jobs to millions of Americans. It seems Eisenhower’s the only president who knew how to properly pull us out of a recession/depression.

Fun Fact: If you see a sign on the side of an interstate with five stars, it was part of the Eisenhower Interstate System. Why five stars? Ike was a Five Star General in World War II.
